When we think of art, we think of intelligence and elegance.
What is the current representation of an intelligent and elegant person in the media?
The closest we can come is the image of people wearing suits or dresses, listening to classical music, having a conversation with a glass of wine in hand.
But are these the only people who should see and enjoy art? This raises the question.
In Western society, there is a white culture and a black culture. Black culture has been judged and marginalized in a bad light.
But now, black culture is also being recognized for its own unique culture, which is art.
The future art policy I want is equality.
And art that touches the heart that can be continued in dreams when you fall asleep.
So what are the most important points to realize this?
It’s about taking art directly to the people, not in limited, enclosed spaces.
This means giving people from all walks of life the opportunity to experience art in unstructured subway stations, Pagoda Park, COEX, Insadong Ssamji-gil, etc.
Korean art has a short history compared to European countries.
I think the future of Korean art should be at least similar to the European atmosphere.
The artistic atmosphere is the attitude of the people when they encounter something artistic.
Koreans spend a lot of energy being conscious of what people think of them when they encounter art.
To truly experience art, freedom is the most important thing.
Therefore, the social atmosphere is most important in order to create a free person who focuses only on himself and is not conscious of his surroundings through art.
